How it works
A few minutes, nothing to copy or type across.
- Sign up on your phoneYour email, a 6-digit code, then a passkey (Face ID or your fingerprint). Enter your invite code.
- Log in on your computer and press Add this computerLog in with your phone's passkey, download the installer and open it. It asks this site to connect that computer, and you approve with your passkey.
- Enroll your phoneYour computer and your phone show the same six digits. Approve with Face ID and st8n opens on your phone, signed in.
Two ways to use it
Start free at home. Add an address when you want your phone.
One computer, no address. Nothing to sign up for. st8n runs in that computer's own browser. Open Terminal (macOS) or a terminal (Linux) on it and run:

Needs macOS or Linux, an internet connection, and a Claude Code, Codex or Copilot account. It takes a few minutes, then st8n opens on that computer.

Questions
What is st8n?
One place for every coding session you have going. Claude Code, Codex and Copilot run on your own computers as usual; st8n shows each one as a tab, tells you which ones are waiting on you, and lets you answer from your phone.
Is it open to everyone?
Not yet. st8n is an invite-only beta. You can sign up and save a passkey now; you need an invite code to connect a computer. Expect rough edges, and tell us about them.
What do I need?
A computer that stays on (Mac, Windows or Linux) with your coding tools on it, and your own Claude, Codex or Copilot account. st8n uses your logins; it does not sell you a model. A phone with Face ID or a fingerprint for your passkey.
Why does my computer warn me about the installer?
The beta installers are not signed yet (that needs an Apple and a Microsoft certificate, which come later). Your Mac will say it cannot verify st8n: press Done, then System Settings, Privacy & Security, Open Anyway. On Windows: More info, then Run anyway. The download page walks you through it. The download itself is checked against our signing key before anything installs.
What does st8n.ai see?
Your email, your devices' names and your st8n address. st8n.ai never sees your code, conversations or keys: they stay on your own computers. Your phone reaches them at your own address on st8n.net, carried by Cloudflare, not by st8n.ai.
What if I lose my phone?
Sign in at st8n.ai on any device with your passkey and press Lock everything down, then confirm with the passkey. Every session is signed out, every device is removed and your address stops answering at once. There is no unlock: you set st8n up again from the start. Your code and files are not touched.
